We've got a new home - and we're just getting started. Same mission, fresh look, bigger ambitions. We've got a brand new home on the internet - and we're pretty excited about it. But more than a fresh coat of paint, this is a moment to reflect on just how far we've come. From a dream of reaching 525 young people, to over 4,500 lives touched across London, Sussex and Yorkshire - Matt's legacy is growing, and it shows no sign of stopping. Welcome to Our New Home - A Fresh Start for a Growing Foundation
We're so excited to welcome you to the brand-new Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation website - and if you're reading this, you've already found it, so well done you!
It feels fitting that as our foundation continues to grow - reaching over 4,500 young people across London, Sussex and Yorkshire since January 2024 - our online home has had a bit of a glow-up too. This new site is cleaner, fresher, and built to tell our story the way it deserves to be told: with heart, clarity, and a whole lot of community pride.
Why the change?
As we've evolved, so has the way we talk about what we do. We're not just a rugby programme - we're a mentoring movement, a support network, and for many of the young people we work with, a genuine lifeline. Our old site did the job, but this new one? It's built to match where we're headed.
Whether you're a school looking to partner with us, a young person wanting to get involved, a potential funder, or someone who just wants to know more about Matt's legacy and why we do what we do - this site is for you.
What's new?
Beyond the fresh look, you'll find clearer information about our programmes, our impact, and the real stories behind the numbers - like the 1,378 young people who showed tangible improvements in their mental health and wellbeing, or the 1,208 who improved their learning and work outcomes. The stats matter, but so do the voices behind them - and we've made sure both shine through.
